Desk Plans and a Dream

This project came out better than I expected. The plans provided pretty much everything I needed to be confident in completing the project. The desk that I made was very similar to the one in the plans, with a few exceptions:

- I made the mirror image of it
- Instead of one drawer in the cabinet, I made three
- None of the legs extended to the top of the desk surface

From an experience perspective, I am a full time IT worker and while I am handy, I have never made furniture before. The plans contained tips on what tools and techniques to use in order to increase the chances of success. I am very happy with the results and look forward to my next woodworking project.
